The Inward Path

I am Kōb Kham. I became an artist because I needed a language for what I was living through, and I found that language in form, light, and materials that carry weight, presence, meaning and spiritual.

I was born with a physical disability that affected my right leg. Growing up different was not easy. There were battles within me and around me, and moments when giving up felt closer than I wanted to admit.

In 2005, I had surgery and was fitted with a prosthetic leg. That chapter of my life came with real pain, struggle, patience, and humility.

But hardship became one of my teachers.

It taught me to be grateful for my leg, and to trust that God made me this way for a reason. He knows best. It also taught me that faith in God is not something we only give thanks for when life is easy. Faith is what keeps us walking when certain people, painful experiences, or difficult events try to throw us off the path.

That understanding is where my art comes from. Kōb Kham Studio was created from that place.

The KK emblem represents four pillars supporting two structures above. It is not just a logo I created. It is a personal foundation. It reminds me to ask what truly matters before I create, before I react, and before I move forward.

My 4 pendant light sculptures come directly from that journey.

YOUR FAITH IS YOUR DOORWAY is about trust the decision to step forward, even when that step feels uncertain or scary.

TRANSIENT DIFFICULTIES AND STRUGGLES is about the testing ground the recognition that hardship is real, temporary, and measured.

UPRIGHT° is about learning to stand correctly after being shaken.

AMPLIFY YOUR INNER WISDOM is about listening more deeply within instead of constantly searching outside yourself for direction.

I create reflective art and sculptural lighting for the inward path. The work is shaped by faith, endurance, and the decision to keep moving forward.

The emblem is the foundation.

The work is the journey.

The path is inward.
