PENDANT LIGHT SCULPTURES
Every sculpture featured here is a direct product of the artist's unique creative vision. All images are authentic, on-location photographs captured with an iPhone. We do not utilize generative AI for conceptual work or image synthesis. Furthermore, these four foundational sculptures were fully realized before the artist was introduced to AI platforms.
Large-scale mixed-media works that invite stillness, discernment, and inner alignment, each an inward passage between the physical and the spiritual.
These works do not seek attention. They do not declare. They do not perform. Instead, they invite a moment of pause, encouraging the viewer to turn inward and meet themselves in the quiet space between form and light.
My work is spiritual, not religious. Created by Kōb Kham in Las Vegas, Nevada, each sculpture in the Black Series is a one-of-a-kind original, built by hand over two to three weeks using wood, steel, copper, iron, and calibrated illumination. They are not created as decoration, but as contemplative objects of harmony designed to acknowledge both a space and the person within it.

Faith is the beginning. It is the decision to step forward before certainty appears, an inward yes that opens a passage where none seemed visible.
This sculpture holds that spirit. The pendant light does not flood the space. It illuminates quietly, the way trust illuminates a path: enough to take the next step, and no more.
When we stand firm in faith, its power unfolds over time, shaping the direction of our lives and revealing possibilities we could not yet see.

The mesh metal surface, bearing the weight and texture of strain, is not a monument to suffering. It is a crucible through which growth occurs. Guided by the light of Allāh (God), we recognize that every hardship is only a shadow moving across a far greater expanse. A single upward-pointing triangle is like a compass needle naturally settling toward North. The needle does not force itself in that direction; it simply aligns with a greater magnetic field. In the same way, Upright° reflects the continual effort to align ourselves with what is true, good, and enduring.
Even through difficulties, uncertainty, and the trials of life, the inward compass remains directed toward the light of Allāh (God). We may stumble, grow tired, or lose our footing for a time, but the direction remains unchanged.
This work is a reflection of humility and the quiet practice of remaining upright through life's challenges. It is not about force, control, or perfection. Rather, it is about standing faithfully over time through sincere effort and good deeds.
It is the difference between trying to stop a storm and quietly keeping your anchor set in the right direction until the storm passes.
